Nelson instructs Rao Dulhajo to kill Laxmi Bai and Gangadhar. Gangadhar takes an unconscious Laxmi Bai to a hut and goes out to look for water. Gangadhar is attacked, and Rao Dulhajo sets the hut on fire. A grief-stricken Moropant is comforted by Tatya Tope and Chimna Bai.
