Daksh consoles Prasuti on seeing her worried about him. He organises a havan, and invites the deities and the rishis. Daksh becomes annoyed on learning that Narad has motivated his sons to take renunciation. He vents his anger on Narad, and curses him. Daksh urges the rishis to marry his daughters.
